On the road again.....Cahuita here we come

We met back up with Brook and headed to the Carribean coast. We stayed in Cahuita at a cute lodge. We had our own two bedroom house. I would receomend the Sia Tami Lodge. :)

Which way Tate??

While we were in Costa Rica, there was an earthquake. This was the town that was closest to the epicenter (I think, I could be wrong). Anyway, we drove through 2 or 3 days after the earthquake.

Bananas. Lots and lots of bananas.

We let Tate pick the place to eat when we got to town. Big mistake. If you ever find yourself in Cahuita Costa Rica, DO NOT eat at the Pizza N Love.

I can not remember the name of this bar...which is to bad, because we really liked it. This is happy hour in Cahuita. We each ordered a different drink, you get two for one. It was fun. :)

This is the hammock that was on the porch at our house.

Zip Line!!!!

I really wanted to go on the zip lines in Costa Rica. I had to do some research, but I found one place that would allow a four year old to go. We had a long drive (on the crappiest roads ever) there and back; but it was soooo worth it!
Here is the place we went to:

Lunch & drinks (of course!!) before the zip line.

Getting ready to go!

Tate was the first one in our group to go. I was soooo worried he would freak out. Thank GOD he didn't. If he would have hated the zip line, he would have to go on FIVE before he could get down. But, he LOVED LOVED LOVED it.

When we got done (took a little over an hour) Tate asked if we could go again. :)

Fortuna / Arenal

This was probably the best view we had of the volcano.
This is Chris signing away his life before he bungee jumped.

This is Chris happy to be alive after he bungee jumped. :)
