Leap Day / Year

So, someone just brought it to my attention, that as I am a salary worker, I techinally dont get paid for today. So, I am working for free. I am using this as my excuse to slack all damn day. :)

This has been a long week. Not sure why. I am glad it is Friday. We are doing wedding stuff this weekend. And getting Tate's haircut. He needs it.

Not sure what else we will do. I have heard it is suppose to rain. That sucks. I hate running around town when the weather is craptaculor.

That is all I know for now. Guess I am pretty boring today.

What a great weekend!

Wow, the weather here was great! The sun was shinning all weekend!

Saturday morning I woke up and rolled over and gave Tate a kiss on the cheek, he said "Mommy you are so nice to me." *sigh* I love him.

We took Tate to the park. The semi-new one that is behind OBee bank. Tate played with another little boy that was there, Sulivan. Sulivan's Dad asked if we would like to meet next Saturday to let the boys play. So, if we dont have anything going on, we will.

After the park, we had intentions of going home and taking a nap. Tate didnt want to....so, we all went to Yauger Park and played disc golf.

Sunday, we got up and went to Elma to play a couple of rounds of disc golf. Tate got all muddy. But, he had fun!

I did yoga last night, at home. It was great and I really think it helped me sleep.

Check!

Check! We bought our wedding invites last night. Now, we have to finalize our list and get the invites printed and stuffed. I dont want to lick the envelopes. Have you seen the Seinfeld episode where George's fiance dies because she is allergic to the envelope glue?!?! Tragic.

Oh, that is nice

Ever since Christmas / Tate's birthday....he has been obsessed with who buys him things / where they come from.

Example:

I was getting dressed this morning and put on a long sleeve Harley shirt, with flames. Tate says to me "Who got you that fire shirt?"
I said, I think Grandma Gidge (my Mom) got it for me.
Tate says, "Oh, that is nice of Grandma Gidge."

He really is a sweet kid.

CHRISTOPHER!!!!

I wasnt feeling very well last night, so I was laying in bed watching TV. Tate came in to, well, not sure what he was doing. And not sure what he wanted, but he started to yell for Daddy who was in the living room.....

Tate: Daddy, DADDY, DADDY, DADDY!!!! CHRISTOPHER, CHRISTOPHER!!!

Yep, he was yelling for his daddy and calling him by his first name. Does that mean I yell at Christopher too much???

The three day is over

Back to work. The weekend was nice. The sun was shinning. I still have a sore throat and Tate has a slight cough. So we pretty much just hung out at home.

Friday night was Chris's 31 birthday. Stan and Gary came over to have a drink (or 5) with Chris. Tate and I watched a movie.....probably Cars.

Sunday Chris went to Portland and played disc golf.

Monday Chis worked and Tate and I were lazy. We did go to the park after nap. It was nice out and Tate wanted to swing.

Now, it is Tuesday and I am back to work. I am wishing I was in my bed, alone. Maybe I can go to bed early tonight.

The start of a three day weekend

Hooray! Three day weekend. But, I think I feel the start of a cold. Crap! I dont want to be sick. I really dont want to be sick on a three day weekend. I have been drinking EmergenC. Hope it helps. I will continue to drink it.

We are going to buy invites this weekend. For the wedding, in case you dont know. I am starting to feel stressed. 5 months to go. UGH! To much to do, only 5 months to do it. I need to get my ass in gear and get shit done.

Tate was crying in his sleep this morning. Not just crying, but cry / whine / talk.
"I want to talk to daddy on the phone"
"I want to go to Home Depot"
"blah, yada, blah"
Very ammusing if it hadnt been the butt crack of dawn. Needless to say I am tired. Hopefully Chris finnishes the closet this weekend so I can get our room cleaned.....then I can sleep in my bed....and not on the stupid hide a bed.

Boredom

We got the tux on Monday. What a great e-bay seller. I won the bid on Friday and received the tux on Monday.
We tried it on Tate last night. Made me cry. He was so cute.

Yesterday, daycare called me at 12:15 ish and said that Tate was throwing up everywhere. So, I, being a worry wort, leave immediately to go get him. I take him home, lay him on the couch, with sick daddy and tell him he needs to take a nap. I warm up my lunch and Tate tells me he is "starving". I tell him he can not eat as he just threw up, he can eat after nap. We all nap. It was nice.
He wakes up and I give him a a snack. He is running around the house. Seems just fine to me.
I think he either tumbled too much on the tumble bus or ate too fast at lunch. He was not sick. But whatever, I got to leave work early. And I get paid for it. :)

Chris has had a headcold or sinus infection. He finally is up and about today.

Tonight, Tate and I will go to juice & jammies at Barnes & Noble. I am trying to make it our Wednesday night thing.

I guess that is all for now. Nothing else too exciting going on. For now.....

Friday! HOORAY!

Oh it is finally Friday. I did not want to get out of bed today. Chris made me get up. He talked to me, turned the light on, let Tate bother me......UGH! Just let me be!

We are having dinner with Jim, Mary & Baby Jewell tongiht. Should be fun.

We picked out the guys tuxes last night. Check! And today, I bought a tux for Tate. Lets see, can I post a link to e-bay ?

Hope that works. It is the cutest thing! Cant wait to pick out Jewell's flower girl dress. Her and Tate will be so cute walking down the aisle! :)

The Pet Store

So, I am not sure why Tate has this obsesion with the pet store....but yes, it is his answer to everything. I dont even remember what we were talking about last night....but his answer was the pet store. LOL.

In the summer, when it is hot as hell, we use to go to the pet store and look around.....but we havent been there in months!

What a memory the kid has.

Money, or lack of it.

Last night Tate and I ran to the grocery store. On the way he was asking me what EVERY THING was. The grocery store, the gas station, the coffee shop.....

We use to go to the coffee shop every Friday. I would get a Latte and Tate would get Bug Juice. So, as soon as I say coffee shop, he wants a bug juice.

I tell him that we have juice boxes at home. He doesnt want juice box he wants Bug Juice. I then tell him that we dont have money for Bug Juice.

He says, we have to get more money. I say, yes we do. Where should we goet more money? He says, "the pet store"

Another Monday.

First day of February

Wow, this year is going so fast. Is it because I have a million things to do for the wedding???

Last night was the premiere of Lost. It was ok. I hope the entire season is not like this. I dont like the flash forwards. I went to Brook & Sarah's to watch. It was nice to get out of the house. I need to do that more often.
