So You Think You Can Dance

Was GREAT!!!! I wish I had gone to both the Seattle & Portland shows. So much fun. I did take pics and some videos. But we had nose bleed seats. I have to go to Costoc to get the pics on a disc before I can post them. I will try to do that tonight.

Finally Friday!!

Ugh, this has been a long week. I think it is the change in weather. Fall is fast approaching.

This Sunday, I am going to Portland with my girlfriends for So You Think You Can Dance! I am excited. I hope I can take pictures.

At the Park

August 4th was a beautiful day. We took Tate to the the fountain downtown (we dont have a public pool) and then to Preist Point Park in Olympia.































It was a good day. I love my boys.

Day on a boat

Well, a little boat. This is Chris work boat, the skiff. Him and Eli use this to get around the Yatch Club.

It was really nice on August 01, so Chris took Tate and I out on the boat.

















It was so nice on the boat. And then....on the way back to the car, Tate was running and fell down on the ramp. OUCH! Poor baby.

Since I lied, and did not update the blog yesterday....here is a cute picture of Tate to make up for it. :)

Karen's Birthday

Karen is my best friend's (Brook) Mom. Most of the year she lives in China where she is a teacher. Once or twice a year she comes to Oly to visit her kids. July 28 was her birtday. She had a wine tasting party. And a test. We had 8 kinds of wine to taste, and a piece pf paper with 8 descriptions. We then had to try and pick the right answer for each wine.

Now, I like wine. I consider myself a wine drinker.....I didnt get one right. Yep, I was the only person to get them all wrong. Loser.

Anyway, here are some pics. We had a great time.

Mini-moon

We are taking our honeymoon in January. We are going to Costa Rica. But, we wanted to get away for a few days after the wedding. So we headed down to Seaside, OR. Here are a few pics. July 16-19

Off to Canon Beach to look for surf (no such luck). The big rock is Haystack Rock. Look familar? It is from the movie The Goonies. :)

Chris, tired of no surf, decides he at least will paddle out. I think he got up a couple of times...but it was not good surf waves.



While he surfed, Tate and I played.
