You are SUCH a good wife! So what would you say your grocery budget is for the three of y'all?
well, i just went to Target, Costco and Fred Meyer last night. I spent a little over $300. Granted we will need milk, bread & some veggies/fruit, I think that was pretty good for a full month.
Swill?
BTW those Navajo Tacos look AWESOME. I'm going to try those. Thanks!
Nice planning. But, ummm, maybe we should have a talk about vegetables.
Paige, I should add that we have beef in the freezer. We bought 1/4 cow a couple of months ago.
Jen, swill is something my Mom always makes. it is a hamburger hot dish with ground beef, minute rice and chicken veggie soup.
I cant wait to try the Navajo Tacos!
I thought maybe you'd be having a mixture of beers for dinner that night. I was thinking it would be a GREAT night for us to actually meet. ;)
HA! That would be fun Jen!
Brook, I am horrible at side dishes. If you have suggestions I would love to hear them. :)
Looks good. u gonna post pics after you cook the meals too? ;-)
i need to start doing menus again but i have no motivation or stomach to cook...oh the pitfalls of the first trimester.
Does T eat most of this? That's my problem with C...he's getting picky in his ripe ol' age of 4-1/2 ;)
Jen, Tate will eat some of it. If he doesnt like what I am cooking he can have hot dogs or pb & j. :)
Susan, yes, I will try to post pics as well. :) Congrats by the way!!!
Love the month menu! Thanks for sharing.
wow a whole month, i can't even decide what to make for just one night. Well, I keep thinking of things but I either don't have the ingredients, it'll take too long to make, or I think it's too much work to make for one person when I should've been a family of 3. But I did get a couple ideas from your list that I might consider!
Come on over to diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com and post your crock pot recipes for Crock Pot Wednesday. They would make terrific additions. Mister Linky is up and ready.
